The Office of the Professions (OP) has implemented a PIN (Personal Identification Number) retrieval service for online registration renewals. PINs are unique to each license and registration period and are required for renewing a registration on our Online Registration Renewal. Generally, these PINs are mailed or emailed to each licensee 4 months prior to their registration expiring. If this information was not received or misplaced this online retrieval service can assist you with obtaining your specific PIN. Below is the information required for PIN retrieval.

  • Profession
  • License number
  • Date of birth
  • Last 4 digits of your Social Security number

If you do not have a Social Security number, you will need to call 518-474-3817 ext. 570, Monday through Friday 8:30am – 4:45pm, and include your profession, license number, and date of birth, or, for an e-mail response, contact us.
