Members of the State Board for Occupational Therapy are appointed by the Board of Regents to assist the Education Department on professional matters related to licensure, practice and discipline.

The office of the State Board for Occupational Therapy is a resource for licensees and consumers of their services. Questions related to licensure and the practice of occupational therapy may be directed to the Board office:

Education Law requires the State Board for Occupational Therapy to be comprised of a minimum of seven occupational therapists, one physician, one hospital administrator and one public member. Licensed occupational therapists who wish to serve on the State Board for Occupational Therapy should contact the Board Office for an application. Board members are appointed for a term of five years.
