Effective February 12, 2013, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order No. 93 which permits pharmacists who are already authorized to administer vaccinations against seasonal influenza to individuals 18 years of age and older also to administer vaccinations against seasonal influenza to individuals between six months and 18 years of age. Pharmacists may provide immunization based on patient specific orders or based on updated non-patient order allowing immunization against seasonal influenza to individuals between six months and 18 years of age. Executive Order No. 93 will expire on March 14, 2013.
