Information Regarding Medicare Part D

Medicare Part D program, scheduled to go into effect January 1,

- The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) has
prepared a document that provides background and explanation on
restrictions to medication access, along with implications for
Medicare beneficiaries and the physicians who care for them. The
document, "ASCP Issue Paper: Access to Medications
Under Medicare Part D," is on the ASCP web site.
- "Understanding the Pharmacists Role in the New
Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit" - Co-sponsored by
the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy of Long Island
University and the New York City Pharmacists Society. Sunday,
