As part of the open review process, you are invited to submit comments regarding any of the programs listed below. Comments should be submitted to Professional Education Program Review office.

Continuing Accreditation & Reregistration- A site visit conducted conducted regularly in order for a program to remain accredited by the Department. Vocational Education programs are typically visited every five years while Nursing Education programs are typically visited every eight to ten years.
Initial Accreditation - A visit is conducted to support an institutions request to register a new program type.
Program Types
Adult Practical Nursing- A Practical Nursing program offered only to adults who have demonstrated completion of High School or its equivalent.
Secondary-Extended Practical Nursing- A Practical Nursing program begun in High School and completed after High School graduation.
Secondary Practical Nursing- A Practical Nursing program completed within High School.
Associates- Programs leading to the Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree.
Bachelors- Programs leading to the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Nursing degree. Includes both professional and post-professional programs.
Masters- Programs leading to the Master of Science degree. Includes Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Midwife, Nurse Educator, Nurse Administrator, and Nurse Informatics.
Doctorate- Programs leading to the Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Nursing Science, or other Doctoral level degree. Includes Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Midwife, Nurse Educator, Nurse Administrator, and Nurse Informatics
