Summary: Licensee was found guilty of practicing beyond the authorized scope of the practice of nursing by administering a tetanus shot to a patient without a prescriber’s order; practicing the profession of nursing fraudulently by withdrawing five tablets of a controlled drug from an Acudose-Prescription station, while indicating in the machine’s records that said drug was intended to be administered to three patients, when the licensee well knew that she never intended to administer said drug to any of those three patients; moral unfitness in the practice of the profession for stealing these five tablets from the hospital’s Acudose-Prescription system; and practicing the profession of nursing fraudulently by submitting an application for employment as a nurse in which she answered “no” to one question asking whether her professional license had ever been under investigation when, as she well knew, her professional license was under investigation and in which she answered “no” to another question asking whether her license was under current investigation for clinical competency issues when, as she well knew, her license was being investigated for clinical competency issues.
