NYS Registered Education Programs

The following schools offer programs that lead to licensure in marriage and family therapy in New York State.

Verification of the education program must be submitted by the school on Form 2 and indicate the degree title/major specified for licensure in the profession.

An applicant must complete the program and earn the advanced degree named here after the date of registration.

The education of an individual who completed a program before it was registered as licensure-qualifying must be individually evaluated.

A graduate of a program outside of NY must be individually evaluated to determine if the individual has completed a program that is equivalent to a licensure-qualifying program, as determined by the Department.
