NYS Registered Education Programs

• The following schools offer programs that lead to licensure in creative arts therapy in New York State.
• Verification of the education program must be submitted by the school on Form 2 and indicate the degree title/major specified for licensure in the profession.
• An applicant must complete the program and earn the advanced degree named here after the date of registration.
• The education of an individual who completed a program before it was registered as licensure-qualifying must be individually evaluated.
• A graduate of a program outside of NY must be individually evaluated to determine if the individual has completed a program that is equivalent to a licensure-qualifying program, as determined by the Department.
• We have provided the general web site for each school. You will typically will find the specific program requirements under the graduate program listing at each school.
