- A Proposal to Increase the Post Graduate Training Requirement for Physician Licensure
Roger M. Oskvig, MD, Chair, New York State Board for Medicine Dr. Oskvig will present an outline of the New York State Board of Medicine's proposal to affected and interested public members (NYS Med. Society, Hospital Assoc. of NY, Associated Med. Schools of NY etc.) and invite public comment.
- The Medical School Scholarship Program at the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba
Ellen Bernstein: IFCO/Pastors for Peace and invited students/graduates will discuss the experiences of American students studying medicine under a scholarship from the Cuban Government and the experiences of its most recent graduates who are undertaking residency training in New York.
