Part 74 of Commissioner's Regulations related to practice of
licensed clinical social work by licensed master social workers

LCSW, and examination for licensure as an LCSW.

- Presentation on Clinical Supervision in the Practice
of Clinical Social Work (11:00 to 11:45 a.m.)
Hillel Bodek, Chair of the Ethics Committee for the New York
State Society for Clinical Social Work, will provide a legal and
ethical perspective on clinical supervision. There will be an
opportunity for questions and discussion by members of the State
Board

- Revisions to Application Packets for LCSW and
Psychotherapy Privilege (12:30 to 1:30 p.m.)
- LCSW: Revised Form 4B to clarify qualifying experience in
diagnosis and psychotherapy
- LCSW: New Form 4X for submission of supervisor's
qualifications and proposed plan for supervised experience prior
to completing the supervised experience for licensure
- Qualifications of supervisor based on Education Law and
Commissioner's Regulations
- Informed consent and patient notification template
- Third-party supervision template and requirements
- Attestation for supervisor and applicant when supervision
plan was not previously approved or the supervisor is deceased or
not available
- "R" Privilege: Revised Form 4SWPR to clarify
qualifying supervised experience in psychotherapy
- "R" Privilege: New Form SWPRX for submission of
supervisor's qualifications and proposed plan for
post-licensure supervised experience in psychotherapy to qualify
for "R" privilege
- Qualifications of supervisor based on Education Law and
Commissioner's Regulations
